Mushroom Medley Pizza

Use all the mushrooms you have, or choose your favorites! This medley pizza is so versatile, have fun with your ingredients & try something new!

Mushroom Medley Pizza


1 oz WSM Dried Mushroom Medley

½ lb fresh mushroom of choice

Fresh or frozen pizza dough

Red pizza sauce

Shredded mozzarella

Optional additional toppings:

Fresh spinach or kale

Raw or caramelized onions

Balsamic topping

Ricotta & Parm white sauce base


Heat grill or oven (with pizza stone) to 425F.

Prepare pizza dough as per package
Pro tip: Visit your local pizzeria and ask to buy fresh dough balls, I have never been turned down! Sometimes they offer sauce and cheese to go with it.

Lightly flour or cornmeal a clean, flat surface and roll out pizza pie. See notes for our favorite food network tutorial.

Using sauce of choice, spread over dough and add a thin layer of toppings (other than mushrooms if using any) and shredded cheese.

If using dried mushrooms, see notes. If using fresh you have the option to cook the mushrooms beforehand and ensure a crispy caramelization or simply add them right on top before you place pizza in the oven or grill.

Bake pizza until bottom is golden brown and toppings and cooked through, slice up and enjoy!

Dried Mush Prep:

Rehydrate mushrooms by soaking in water, completely submerged, for 15-20 minutes. Drain excess water, pat excess dry, and chop into smaller pieces or add right on top of the pizza!
