Mushroom Marinara

A quick and simple mushroom sauce for any day of the week!

1 oz dried mushrooms

1 28-oz can crushed tomatoes

3 cloves garlic - thinly sliced

1 sprig fresh basil - thinly sliced

1 Tbsp olive oil

Optional: Fresh or dried oregano


  1. In a small saucepan pour in the crushed tomatoes and dried mushrooms and garlic. Bring to a simmer.

  2. When the sauce is thickened to your liking add the fresh herbs and olive oil. Let simmer for another 10 minutes. Salt to taste.

30-60 Minute Cook Time - Serves 4-6
